What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Subdued combination of colours … very restful.

Might be appropriate for a very large bed, but I like the first design way more.

I would have liked to dream up a better name for this project file, as I keep ignoring it because of the tiles!

Lovely, but how would I quilt it? I would scatter a few birds, or fairies might be appropriate, flying around with a lot of filler, perhaps cross hatch.

Love the second design, and I would enlarge those quilted wreaths to fill the space between the border and the centre part of the design, then fill in with cross hatch, or perhaps stippling.

I have a friend who would love this because of the colours are worn by her favourite team. I love it because it is an interesting collection of pieced and applique designs.

Same blocks, different arrangement, and I still like it. Lots of room for quilting in the background areas.

My Mum’s favourite colour was purple … I think she would have liked playing with these designs.

A little bit more colour, but still dainty.

I love the first design, suitable for anytime, just about anywhere.

Love the second design too, and one favourite bit is the pieced border with quilted motifs adding a whole new design element.
